Practical. Informed. Professionally Delivered. Our training programs are designed to equip lawyers with the tools, insight, and trauma-informed awareness needed to navigate sensitive claims with confidence, clarity and care.
Continuing Professional Development workshops provide clear, practical guidance to help lawyers respond more effectively — and sustainably — to the demands of sensitive claims.
Understand how trauma exposure impacts legal practitioners and client relationships. Learn to recognise early signs of vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue — and apply evidence-informed strategies to sustain performance, maintain boundaries, and protect your wellbeing while delivering excellent client service.
Explore how trauma affects client behaviour and communication during the resolution process. This workshop shows you how to apply trauma-informed principles to improve engagement, reduce reactivity, and ultimately achieve better outcomes.
We offer complimentary CPD-style sessions for firms and organisations wanting to explore mediation skills, preparing for expert conclaves, trauma-informed practice, vicarious trauma, or emotional regulation in legal work. These sessions introduce the core concepts and open space for team reflection and discussion.
We’re developing a flexible, on-demand version of our workshops, designed for busy professionals who need flexible access to training that fits their schedule. You’ll be able to complete training at your own pace, with access to videos, downloadable resources, and reflective tools.
Fill out the form below and we’ll let you know when our online, self paced, learning programme is ready to go!

Her training is grounded in practical, real-world application and draws on advanced knowledge of trauma, vicarious trauma, and psychological safety in legal practice.
Why lawyers trust Julie with their most complex and sensitive matters.
Check our available mediation dates using our online calendar, or arrange a facilitated expert conclave.
Although based in Sydney, same day mediations are available in person in Newcastle and Wollongong. Mediations can also be arranged, usually requiring overnight accommodation, in regional NSW, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane. No additional fee is charged for travelling to mediations in those locations. If plane travel or overnight accommodation is required it is billed to the parties at cost, and by prior agreement.
We are also available to conduct mediations in other locations by prior arrangement. Additional costs incurred associated with travelling to such locations may be charged to the parties at cost, and by prior agreement.
We are also experienced in mediating online, via a variety of platforms; although Zoom is currently our preference.
