Mediation Booking Fees

Fees apply for all services provided up to 31 December 2026.
Fees include all reading and preparation, provided the mediation bundle is received more than 7 days before the mediation. If the mediation bundle is not received 7 days before the mediation, reading and preparations are charged at $500 per hour plus GST
Full day mediations generally commence at 10am and conclude no later than 5pm.
Half day mediations generally commence at either 9am or 2pm and conclude no later than 3.5 hours after commencement. If alternative times are sought please contact us to discuss further.
R3 Resolutions will consider reduced rates for legally aided or pro bono matters. Please contact us to discuss further.

Expert Conclave Booking Fees

Exclusive of experts’ and stenographer’s fees – invoiced directly to instructing solicitor

Cancellation Fees

A cancellation fee of 50% may be charged if the mediation is cancelled between 1 and 21 calendar days before the mediation date, unless we secure another booking for that date. If a mediation is cancelled within 24 hours of its scheduled commencement, the full mediation fee remains payable..

Locations

Although based in Sydney, same day mediations are available in person in Newcastle and Wollongong. Mediations can also be arranged, usually requiring overnight accommodation, in regional NSW, Canberra, Melbourne and Brisbane. No additional fee is charged for travelling to mediations in those locations. If plane travel or overnight accommodation is required it is billed to the parties at cost, and by prior agreement.

We are also available to conduct mediations in other locations by prior arrangement. Additional costs incurred associated with travelling to such locations may be charged to the parties at cost, and by prior agreement.

We are also experienced in mediating online, via a variety of platforms; although Zoom is currently our preference.
